DESCRIPTION:Niagara County Rapids Road and Bartz Road Rehabilitation\n\n\n\n\nDescription:                         Rapids Road and Bartz Road Rehabilitation –  Wendel Engineering PIN 5763.12\n\n\n\n\n**UPDATE:  \nThe Niagara County Department of Public Works (DPW) today announced a public information meeting regarding the upcoming road construction project on Rapids and Raymond roads.  The meeting will held on Thursday, March 27, at 6:30 pm at the Lockport Town Hall Lockport Town Hall, 6560 Dysinger Road.  Doors will open at 6:30 pm.\nRepresentatives from engineering firm Erdman Anthony will be on hand to provide details on the project scope and answer any questions the public may have. \nThe roughly six million dollar project includes mill and overlay to restore the riding surface on Raymond and Rapids Roads.  In addition, there will be reconstruction work with grade adjustments at the Bartz/Crosby and Minnick Road intersections with Rapids Road.\nBids for the project will be taken later this month and construction is expected to begin in late summer.\n\n\nDoors will open at 6:30 pm.\n\n\n**Watch for updates\n
