NEW INFORMATION FOR RESIDENTS 1000 FEET EAST OF BOWMILLER ROAD AND DYSINGER ROAD

The following information is an update on the NYSDOT Culvert Replacement:

Dear Resident and/or Business Owner:

New information regarding the NYSDOT culvert work that will be taking place approximately 1000 feet east of Bowmiller Road on Dysinger Road.   This is a notice from D265317 prime contractor, Edbauer Construction. Message boards that were posted late last week advising that construction will be starting September 2.

Originally, this work would be completed in Spring 2026, but it has been moved it up.

This location calls for replacement of the existing arch pipe with a 5’x4’ precast box culvert. 

Construction will be coordinated to keep the road open to traffic at all times using temporary signals and reducing traffic to one lane. Work at this location is expected to take approximately 1-2 months.

Wendel will be attending a meeting with Angela Aagaard, the engineer in charge for the New York State Department of Transportation project which includes these various culvert replacements and repairs.  The NYSDOT field office to oversee this work is located at 135 Main Street, Lockport.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out by calling (716) 481-0181 at that office.
