Dear Resident and/or Business Owner:
The following information is an update on the Phase 4 Waterline Project: Locust Street and Hamm Road Waterline Project Update #9
The Contractor has completed the installation and connection of new services on Locust Street between Hamm Road and Badger Drive. This completes the waterline installation on Locust Street.
Restoration work on Locust Street (between Hamm Road and Badger Drive) will continue in the coming weeks. The contractor plans to begin with asphalt pavement replacement, followed by lawn restoration. Please note that weather conditions may affect the restoration schedule.
The Contractor has also completed installation of the new 10-inch waterline on Hamm Road from Beattie Avenue to Locust Street. A service crew began installing new services and making connections last week, and this work will continue through this week.
A temporary waterline has been installed on Hamm Road from Locust Street to Transit Road. Homes in this section will be connected to the temporary waterline this week. The contractor will begin installing remaining mainline, working west along Hamm Road from Locust Street. Mainline installation is expected to begin later this week.
